A million hopes, dreams, and memories - ornaments in a medieval breviary project the aura of spectacular unction. Constructions of truth, power, and authority…. Events that were once instruments of meaning now have value attributed to them by bureaucratic explanation. In all the anxiety and disorientation of assigning meaning and value, the erotics of art have been stranded in fields of revolutionary violence. The language suspects one modifies ones utopian view to imagine obliterating a million hopes, dreams, and memories.
